#

4 February 2021

Online registrations open soon for the Association of Choral Directors’ biennial convention coming up this July in Auckland.  We’re looking forward to welcoming directors of all kinds of vocal groups from across New Zealand for four days of presentations, workshops, forums, and more.

At Choral Connect ‘21, choir leaders will:

  • gain new perspectives through workshops, presentations, and discussions focusing on Māori and Pasifika music
  • be inspired by performances and open rehearsals by the New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir and other Auckland-based ensembles
  • be challenged by international presenters Zooming in from around the world
  • build and refresh skills through conducting classes and toolbox sessions on vocal pedagogy, language, rehearsal technique, musicianship, programming and more
  • be encouraged by other delegates from around the country as we share our experiences and knowledge in delegate-led CONNECT sessions

More specific details about presenters and other events will appear in our monthly eBreve and on the website.
