Schola Sacra: Tidings of Comfort & Joy

Schola Sacra Choir presents a selection of Christmas music both familiar and less well-known, directed by Iain Tetley and accompanied on piano when required by Margaret Thompson. Composers include Praetorius, Gabrieli, Ireland, Britten, de Victoria, Gardner, Boris Ord, Luc Jakobs, Shirley Murray & John Rutter.

Included in the programme will be Christmas readings and some carols with which the audience are invited to participate. Young choir member Gabriel Stephens will perform a solo organ interlude.
