Celebrate the joy of the season with Camerata’s Christmas concert! This year, we are delighted to present Mendelssohn’s radiant cantata ‘Vom Himmel Hoch’ (‘From Heaven on High’)—a piece brimming with joyful news and the wonder of Christmas. The programme also includes cherished Christmas classics and other festive selections, complemented by meaningful readings from diverse faith and cultural traditions, honouring the richness of our community. Expect carols old and new, including some by our own conductor, David Gordon—and yes, you’re all invited to join in for a few! Soloists include baritone Blake Scanlen and talented members of the choir, with Megan Quatermass accompanying on piano. We look forward to welcoming you for an inspiring start to the holiday season!
