Opera North is delighted to bring Opera in the Garden back after a few years' hiatus. New venue, same wonderful concert!

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 3 pm to 6 pm, at the stunning Tahamoana Angora Goat Farm, Waipu Cove (566 Cove Road).

Prepare to be spellbound by a carefully selected repertoire designed to delight every listener. The first half celebrates the majesty of opera with timeless, well-loved choruses, while the second half shifts to musical theatre, featuring everything from Gershwin classics to the contemporary melodies of Sara Bareilles "Waitress".

We’re especially thrilled to welcome Deborah Wai Kapohe, whose radiant talent and expressive soprano voice will leave you mesmerized.

With room for the kids to roam, a relaxed atmosphere perfect for hampers and champers, and onsite coffee and food trucks, this is the perfect setting to unwind and savor a day out that’s a little different.

Put on your glad rags, bring your friends, your family, and your love of music!

• Tickets: $47 for adults 18yrs and over. Accompanied children are free (maximum 2 children under 18yrs per paying adult).
• Concert will proceed in (nearly) all weather conditions - an alternative date or venue will be announced in the event of particularly murky weather!
