Voices in the Wind are thrilled to invite you to our latest concert, Music Down in Our Souls.

Join us for a vibrant journey through the rich musical traditions of America, from much-loved folk songs and sweeping melodies to the powerful rhythms and harmonies of African American spirituals.

Featuring music from Aaron Copland’s iconic Old American Songs, alongside favourites such as Shenandoah, Wade in the Water, Deep River and, of course, the piece that inspired our concert title, Music Down in My Soul.

Inspired by the 250th anniversary of American independence, this concert celebrates the music, stories and diverse traditions that have shaped America’s musical heritage.

Expect beautiful harmonies, moments of reflection, plenty of energy and humour, and some glorious music from Voices in the Wind.
