St George's Community Choir: The Mikado

The Musical Director is Kolitha Jayatunge and the choir is accompanied by Yi Ting Heng on the piano.
The operetta features nine soloists; four are from from St George"s choir and four are from the Hamilton area. As well, the role of Nanki-Poo is sung by Kolitha himself.
A Narrator guides the audience through the operetta's complicated plot of young love, unwanted betrothal, impersonation and threats o execution, all leading to a happy ending for everyone.
