Ars Nova Choir are excited to present Handel's Messiah, a work which needs little introduction to seasoned classical musical lovers! But even for inexperienced concert-goers, this work has something to offer to everyone; soaring solos and compelling choruses set amongst moments of contemplation. We are grateful to be accompanied by the Taranaki Symphony Orchestra, and our four eloquent soloists: Bryony Williams, Charlotte Secker, John Beaglehole and Roger Wilson.
This will also be a poignant and fitting setting to farewell our Musical Director, Christopher J Luke, who is stepping down from this role after a remarkable 15 years of guiding the choir.
Tickets are available online or from the iSite at Puke Ariki, New Plymouth.
We would like to acknowledge the generous support from our funders: CreativeNZ, TOI Foundation, NZCT, and Pelorus Trust.
