Belle Canto Women's Choir: Fiesta of Latin American Music

Ticket's are now on sale for the Belle Canto Women's Choir annual concert and this year we want to take you to South America! Under the baton of music director Clare Martin and accompanied by Megan Quatermass, Belle Canto is excited to present a programme of Latin American music on Sunday 17 November at 5pm in the beautiful acoustic of St George's Presbyterian Church, Takapuna.
Performing with the choir is Aotearoa's critically-acclaimed tango quartet Milonga de Cuatro who will perform some of Astor Piazzolla's famous tango songs with piano accordion, strings, piano and soloists. From Colombian Cumbia to Spanish Cancion and Brazilian Bossanova, come along for a Fiesta of music! Songs include Girl from Ipanema, Andalucian lullabies, folk songs from the Andes, and Nella Fantasia from The Mission.
