Join Auckland Youth Choir for its first concert of 2025, Echoes of the Soul — a collection of moving works that will stir the heart and uplift the spirit. The programme weaves together sacred reflections, contemporary classics and cinematic soundscapes.
Featuring music from the hit New Zealand film "Tinā", enjoy stunning arrangements of the hymns "Nearer, My God to Thee" and "It Is Well With My Soul", the isiXhosa song "Indodana", the Eagles’ "Seven Bridges Road" and Dave Dobbyn’s "Welcome Home".
Echoes of the Soul will also showcase choral gems including Bruckner’s "Locus Iste", Morten Lauridsen’s "Sure on this Shining Night", and Duruflé’s "Ubi Caritas". Join us for an evening of reflection and connection through song, featuring 130 of Auckland’s finest young singers.
