Cantorum Chamber Choir invites you to a concert of Choral Music on Saturday 20 June at 5pm in All Saints’ Church, Ponsonby.

Cantorum's midwinter concert is nearing, and this one calls for celebration! We have focussed on texts that involve celebration, glorification, and magnification of God in a variety of works, ranging from early-English Byrd to later-English Howells. This will be the debut of Cameron McConchie as full-time Music Director, succeeding the wonderful and talented Anita Banbury. And, once again, we have our esteemed organist Michael Bell joining us. However, this time he won't be the only addition. In collaboration with Cantorum, we have students from the University of Auckland School of Music taking centre-stage and performing some captivating works as soloists for the choir. Ranging from soprano to baritone to trumpets, they will have opportunities to perform some of their solo repertoire, which will be dispersed throughout the concert. Come and support these talented, up-and-coming musicians alongside the Cantorum sound you know so well. This will not be one to miss; we hope to see you there!
