Our concert at the end of this month, is one that you will not want to miss. It is the final concert with Anita Banbury at the helm as our Musical Director. We have been working under Anita’s musical leadership since 2018. Anita was born in Oxford and received her musical education in London while staying at the headquarters of the Royal School of Church Music. Describing herself as a “Choralaholic” she has sung in numerous choirs in Auckland; in retirement from her organ and piano teaching practice she has conducted the occasional choir at Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the St Mary’s Singers. She holds two honours, the A.R.S.C.M. for her services to Church Music and the A.R.A.M. granted to former students of the Royal Academy of Music who have distinguished themselves in their field. If you have never been to one of our concerts you will want to come to this one. If you are an occasional visitor to our concerts you will want to come to this one. If you are a regular member of our audience, this concert is not one to be missed.
