Join us for an afternoon of music with the Auckland Boys’ Choir as they embark on their annual tour - this year, to Waihi!
This special concert promises to be both moving and uplifting, featuring a diverse programme that spans from classical choral works to contemporary favourites.
The choir is made up of talented boys aged 8 to 13+, all of whom sing with treble voices. Membership is open to boys from primary and intermediate schools across the Auckland region, with entry via a rehearsal visit followed by an audition with the Director of Music. Weekly rehearsals provide the foundation for the choir’s many performances throughout the year.
The Auckland Boys’ Choir stands for excellence in choral singing. Guided by the values of Excellence, Respect, Discipline, and Enjoyment, the choir fosters a culture that is passionate, harmonious, inclusive, and always entertaining.
