Hutt City Chorale: 50 Golden Years of Song

Hutt City Chorale is celebrating 50 years since being formally established as the Wainuiomata Choir in 1976. The choir’s first concert was performed on 23 July 1976.
To mark this milestone, current members of Hutt City Chorale will present a programme of favourite works performed over the past five decades, featuring music from the 1800s through to today. The concert will also include several pieces composed and or arranged by our current music director, Jonathan Berkahn as well as one composed by a previous music director Lauren Armishaw. A display featuring photos, past concert programmes and other memorabilia will be available to view prior to or after the concert.
