With the severe impact of Covid-19 on the tourism industry, NZCF is especially grateful to our national sponsors Tour Time for their ongoing support of The Big Sing at all levels, from Regionals through to Cadenza and Finale.
Founding Director Beryl Imrie says: “We’re in this for the long haul and always look forward to these fabulous events. Like many businesses, the pandemic has forced us to take stock and re-set our business. We are delighted to have been accredited with the Safe Travels Stamp by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and Tourism Export Council NZ (TECNZ), after implementing global best practice around COVID-19 safe protocols to ensure we are COVID-19 ready once groups travel again domestically and internationally.”
Tour Time Director Brent Imrie was one of the first to congratulate NZCF on winning the rights to host the World Choir Games in 2024. Brent writes: “As official agents/partners of Interkultur in New Zealand and Australia we congratulate NZCF on being awarded the World Choir Games in 2024. The event will provide a fantastic opportunity for New Zealand choirs to expand their global connectiveness through singing.”
