Giving Direction workshops an opportunity to upskill

Giving Direction workshops an opportunity to upskill

#

If you missed Choral Connect or would like some more one-to-one professional development, why not enrol in one of our Giving Direction workshops? Giving Direction is aimed at choir directors of all levels and offers ‘hands-on’ instruction on conducting gesture and other vital aspects of choir direction, as well as the opportunity to take part in a choral forum. This is a great opportunity to hone your choir directing skills and share knowledge or experiences with fellow conductors.

Feedback from Giving Direction workshops in 2020 includes:

I was able to take away a ton of practical ideas and suggestions that really targeted some of the things I would like to improve with our choir. It was also great to connect with other directors in the area. I took away 7 typed pages of notes from the day, and my colleague had even more.”

Some of the discussions around this workshop have been the best professional development I’ve had in a long while, and it left myself and a colleague feeling invigorated, excited, and energised about really getting stuck in with our groups next year.”
