Miriama Kamo to compère The Big Sing Finale

We’re thrilled that celebrity TV presenter Miriama Kamo will compère The Big Sing Finale this year in the Christchurch Town Hall. Miriama has a distinguished career as a broadcast journalist and is well-known as the presenter for current affairs programmes Sunday and Marae on TVNZ 1.
Miriama is a board member for the Arts Foundation and is the Patron/Te Koruru of the New Zealander of the Year Awards. She also sits on the board of Kotahi Rau Pukapuka, which is translating 100 books into te reo. A writer herself, Miriama published her first children’s book in 2018, and has two more ‘in the works’. A loyal Cantabrian and mother, she is also an ambassador for Endometriosis NZ and Pillars, a children’s charity supporting positive futures for children of prisoners.
Miriama says: “I’m thrilled to be the MC for this event where so many amazing young singers will be hosted again in my hometown of Christchurch. It’s a wonderful celebration of youth and music.”
