Introducing our new team members
3 Feb 2025
We're delighted to introduce two new additions to the NZCF team: Hannah Dahlke, who joins us as Fundraising Manager, and Claudette Martin, our new Finance Assistant. Read more about them both and their experience in the arts management space below.
Hannah Dahlke is an experienced fundraising professional based in Whakatū Nelson, with a strong background in arts education, fundraising, and funding management. In 2010 she gained her Master’s Degree in Creative and Performing Arts from the University of Auckland, with a focus on Community Dance Education.
Hannah’s passion for the arts has seen her work in a variety of roles, including as a Dance Educator for the Royal New Zealand Ballet, an Education Specialist with the Seattle Children’s Theatre, and a Grants and Program Specialist with the Washington State Arts Commission – both in the US. She has recently spent four years as a Senior Funding Advisor at Arts Access Aotearoa, where she worked with 54 creative spaces funded through the $18 million CARE Fund from Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage.
Now as Fundraising Manager for the New Zealand Choral Federation (NZCF), Hannah is excited to lead efforts in fundraising, membership development, and sponsorship to help the Federation grow and thrive. With a passion for accessible and inclusive arts, she brings a strategic, relationship-focused approach to fundraising, all while supporting NZCF’s mission to promote and sustain choral music across New Zealand.
Claudette Martin brings a wealth of experience in financial and funding administration, having worked in a variety of not-for-profit roles where she has supported financial operations, membership services and digital communications.
Before joining NZCF, Claudette worked across several key GLAM organisations, including Tauranga Art Gallery, Western Bay Museum, and Te Ao Mārama Tauranga City Libraries, where she gained extensive experience in accounts, grant and sponsorship management, and financial reporting. Claudette trained in Production Management at South Seas Film & Television School, completed a digital communications course at the University of Auckland, and holds various certifications in areas like mental health, children’s protection, and cultural engagement.
Claudette is passionate about the arts and community development and is excited to contribute her skills to NZCF’s mission of growing choral music participation across New Zealand. She has a strong belief in the power of community-driven initiatives and looks forward to supporting NZCF’s financial integrity while helping the organisation to thrive.
When not at work, Claudette enjoys connecting with local arts organisations and supporting their ongoing projects. She is excited to be part of the NZCF team and looks forward to supporting the organisation’s growth and impact in the arts community.
