Pacific Voices: An immersive exploration of Samoan songs, featuring music from the film Tinā
This interactive workshop, led by Tuilagi Dr. Igelese Ete, offers participants a dynamic and immersive experience in exploring the vocalisation, melodies, meanings and cultural significance of Samoan songs. Through focused vocal learning and cultural immersion, participants will engage deeply with the harmonic richness of Samoan choral traditions, including a special exploration of music from the Tinā film. This workshop provides a unique insight into the context of why these songs were chosen for the powerful Samoan/NZ film.
