Mat Wright

Founder and Artistic Director of the award-winning Barnsley Youth Choir, a community choir of 650 members based in an area of significant deprivation. 

Mat is a composer and arranger who has worked in education at Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and University levels as an Advanced Skills Teacher, Advisory Teacher and as a Regional Director of Education for a large Education Trust.  He is also in demand internationally as a clinician, workshop leader, conductor and adjudicator.
