Zimfera Poloz

Internationally respected musician with 38 years of experience as an award-winning conductor, educator, adjudicator and clinician.

Artistic Director of the renowned Toronto Children’s Chorus with its over 300 singers and eight levels of ensembles, Zimfira teaches Vocal Pedagogy for Choirs at the University of Toronto.

A founding Board Member for the World Alliance of Children’s Choirs, she founded the Choir School in Kazakhstan and is Honorary Artistic Director of the Hamilton Children’s Choir (Canada), curator/editor for Cypress Choral Music and a member of the INTERKULTUR World Choir Council.
