The Big Sing Finale 2019: live stream and schedule information


Around 830 singers with their choir directors and supervisors will converge on Dunedin 29-31 August when the 24 secondary school choirs selected from The Big Sing (TBS) Regional competitions take to the stage to compete at the National Finale in the Dunedin Town Hall.

The Adjudicators will be Tim Sharp, Executive Director of the American Choral Directors Association, UK-based New Zealand opera singer Madeleine Pierard, James Tibbles, Associate Professor at the University of Auckland’s School of Music, and Paulette Tamati-Elliffe (Auahi Kore award). The Gala Concert at TBS Finale will be compèred by much-loved TV celebrity and former member of the New Zealand Youth Choir, Hilary Barry.

Admission to recital sessions:
Adults – $5 at the door or $35 for all eight sessions.
School children free.

Gala Concert admission:
Adults $25
NZCF members $20
Children $15.
Children under 5 free.
