Otago & South Canterbury The Big Sing Awards 2018

A snowy day meant that Dunstan High School was unable to attend but we were glad they could travel to Invercargill two weeks later and take part in their festival.

The folks from Timaru and Oamaru managed to get down so we still had a great day! Unfortunately the weather meant a poor audience turn out but the atmosphere in the Town Hall was warm and we all enjoyed some fine singing.

The local special awards were as follows:

University of Otago College of Education Cup – for best performance in Category One, NZ composition or arrangement.
Logan Park High School Choir and Bravo! (Bayfield High School)

Millennium Trophy (Otago Regional Committee Award) –  for best performance in Category 2, Classical composition.
