The Big Sing Finale is over for another year.

Here’s more information on the awards:
NZCF Awards – gold, silver, bronze, and finalist awards are presented, and a platinum award may be presented for the premiere performance graded at 90 per cent or more.
Hutt City Trophy – awarded for the best performance of a Category One award, a New Zealand or Pasifika composition.
Tour Time Trophy – awarded for the best performance of a Category Two item (Classical, from Medieval to the present day, written for choir or vocal ensemble).
Auahi Kore Performance Award – awarded to the choir judged as having given the best total performance of a work using Maori text.
The Big Sing Youth Ambassadors Award – awarded to the choir that in the opinion of the organisers demonstrates outstanding engagement with all elements of the Finale.
SOUNZ-NZCF Composition Competition
This competition, introduced by NZCF to mark the third millennium, with a trophy presented by NZCF Auckland Region, is run in conjunction with The Big Sing National Finale and SOUNZ Centre for New Zealand Music, and awards a prize for the best choral piece composed by a New Zealand secondary school student.
