Creative NZ funding webinar for choirs

A new round of Creative New Zealand funding opportunities has just opened and we’re delighted that two of CNZ’s Arts Practice Directors, Rose Campbell (Music & Opera) and Briar Munro (Community & Youth), have offered to join us for a Q&A session on Wednesday 12 August at 5pm to help you navigate the opportunities available to choirs.

Rose is a pianist with a Bachelor of Music from Victoria University of Wellington. In addition to her various roles at Creative NZ, Rose has enjoyed teaching positions in primary and secondary schools, was a Schools Relationship Manager at NZQA, and is a former Manager of the New Zealand String Quartet.

Briar joined Creative New Zealand in 2011 as Senior Programme Adviser for Theatre and Dance. Community arts has been a focus of her work as a practitioner, arts adviser, producer, project and company manager, director and tutor for over 25 years.

In this Q&A Zoom session, Rose and Briar will specifically look at the funding opportunities offered through the CNZ Arts Grants and the Creative Communities scheme.

To join the webinar, follow this link https://youtu.be/vaenB-0XXak – it will be live at 5pm on Wednesday 12 August.

NZCF Chair Juliet Dreaver and Chief Executive Christine Argyle will be on screen with Rose and Briar and you can email your funding-related questions in advance to christine.argyle@nzcf.org.nz or write them in the chat box at the side of the screen so that Juliet or Christine can ask them during the session.
