Planning is in hand for the NZCF Manawatu-Whanganui 2017 AGM and Workshop lead by Eric Sidoti. This will be held at St Stephen’s Church Hall, Maunder Street, Marton on Saturday 13 May, commencing at 9.30am. There will be a morning and afternoon session with the AGM being held during the extended luncheon break.

More about Eric
Eric is the current music director for both the Kapiti Chamber Choir and the Kapiti Chorale. He is also the choir conductor for St John’s-in-the City Presbyterian Church, Wellington, and is music director of the Hutt Valley Gang Show.
Before moving to New Zealand, Eric completed a Bachelor of Arts at Brown University in Rhode Island, specialising in composition and theory, with a minor in conducting. He was initially an instrumentalist, playing the trombone and directing orchestras and musicals before discovering choral music in his early 30’s. At that point he took over the musical directorship of a large church near Chicago where he directed up to 7 choirs.
